A Certificate of Analysis, usually shortened to COA, is a lab report on a specific batch of a compound. It is not a general claim about the product, it is a test result tied to one production run, which is why the batch number on the certificate matters as much as the numbers underneath it.
Most COAs lead with a purity percentage from High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, or HPLC. This test separates a sample into its components and measures how much of the vial is the actual peptide versus leftover solvents, salts or breakdown products from manufacturing. A higher percentage means less of the vial is filler or residue, though HPLC on its own does not confirm which peptide is actually in the vial, only how pure whatever is there happens to be.
That is where mass spectrometry comes in. It measures the mass of the molecule in the vial and compares it against the expected mass of the named peptide. A COA with both HPLC and mass spec is telling you two separate things: how pure the sample is, and that it is actually the compound the label says it is. A report with only one of the two is a weaker document than one with both.
The batch or lot number ties the certificate to one specific production run, not to the compound in general. A test date matters too. A peptide is a chemical that can degrade over time and with poor storage, so a certificate from two years ago says little about a vial sitting in a warehouse today. Match the batch number on the certificate to the batch number on your vial before you rely on it.
A PDF on its own can be edited. A verify link takes you to the testing lab's own database, where you enter a batch or report number and the lab's system pulls up the result directly, rather than trusting a document that was emailed to you. On this page, the compounds with a COA link to Janoshik's own verification, so you are checking the lab's record, not a screenshot of one.
For peptides in Sanur, GHK-Cu, Retatrutide, MOTS-C and the BPC-157 and TB-500 stack carry a published, verifiable COA. Other compounds in the range do not currently have one posted. If a COA matters to your research, ask on WhatsApp what is available for the specific batch you are looking at before you order.
HPLC, or High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, separates a sample and measures how much of it is the actual peptide compared with leftover solvents or manufacturing residue. A higher percentage means less filler in the vial, though HPLC alone does not confirm which compound is present, only how pure the sample is.
Use the verify link rather than trusting a PDF alone. It takes you to the testing lab's own database, where you enter the batch or report number and the result comes directly from the lab's system. On this page, the compounds with a COA link to Janoshik's own verification page.
Not formally, but the test date on it matters. A peptide can degrade over time and with poor storage, so an older certificate tells you less about a vial sitting in stock today. Where a batch number is printed on the vial, compare it with the one on the certificate.
It measures the mass of the molecule in the vial and compares it with the expected mass of the named compound. Combined with HPLC purity, it confirms both what is in the vial and how pure it is. A COA with only one of the two tests gives a smaller part of the picture.
Only some do. On this page, GHK-Cu, Retatrutide, MOTS-C and the BPC-157 and TB-500 stack carry a published Certificate of Analysis with a verify link to the testing lab. A compound that is not on that list does not currently have one, and we say so plainly rather than promise a report that does not exist.
